Hi, I’m Susana.

I’m originally from Portugal and have been living in Northern Ireland for the past 14 years. I’m passionate about travel, photography and spending time in nature. This blog is my way of sharing the places I visit, the experiences I enjoy and the moments I capture along the way.

I’m not a professional traveller or photographer. Like many people, I work full time and travel whenever time and circumstances allow. For me travelling isn’t about ticking destinations off a list or chasing adventure every weekend. It’s about discovering new places at my own pace, enjoying different landscapes and appreciating the beauty that surround us.

Photography is one of my favourite ways to preserve memories. Weather I’m using my camera or simply my mobile phone during a daily walk, I love capture a beautiful landscape, an interesting tree, a colourful flower or a special moment in nature.

Portugal will always have a special place in my heart. I try to return at least once a year to visit family and friends, while also taking the opportunity to explore new corners of the country or revisit favourite places.

Over the years I’ve been fortunate enough to visit several countries, including Portugal, Spain, France, England, Scotland, Ireland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Lithuania, Iceland, Turkey, Japan, Greece and the United States. Each destination has given me wonderful memories and a greater appreciation for our beautiful world.

A very important member of our family is Oscar, our Labrador. He is nearly five years old and loves being outdoors, especially when there is a beach nearby. Although travelling by car isn’t his favourite thing, we still take him with us on many local trips around Northern Ireland and Donegal. Seeing him enjoy the sea, new places and different smells always adds something special to our adventures.

I enjoy exploring places on foot, taking my time to look around and discover things that might otherwise go unnoticed. I believe some of the best travel experiences come from simply wandering, observing and appreciating the world around us.

Thank you for visiting my blog. I hope my photos and travel stories inspire you to explore, weather that’s a distant destination or a beautiful place close to home.
